About Wheels for Wellness
We built a transportation company around one idea: every passenger deserves a ride that is safe, clean, and on time, with help from the door to the seat — whether they ride in a wheelchair, on a stretcher, or walking.
Why we started
Too often, arranging a wheelchair ride means long waits, unclear pricing, and drivers who are not trained in securement. We saw families and discharge planners struggle with this again and again.
So we built a fleet for wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transport, where every driver is trained in safe securement, transfers, and passenger assistance. We serve Madison and Dane County, with longer trips to surrounding counties by advance scheduling.
We are a non-emergency medical transportation company. We are not an ambulance service. In an emergency, call 911.
